Love is a practice.
Partnership is a path.

The Way of the Beloved

A Three-Part Ceremonial Journey into Love as Spiritual Practice

There comes a point on the spiritual path when the question quietly changes. It is no longer:

“How do I find love?”

Instead, it becomes:

“How do I become someone who can truly give, receive, and sustain love?”

Not because we have found all the answers.

But because something in us has become ready to ask a different question.

The Way of the Beloved is an immersive journey into love as spiritual practice.

It is not about finding the right person.

It is about becoming someone who knows how to love well.

It is an invitation to become the kind of person who can cultivate conscious, enduring, deeply rooted relationship with yourself, with community, with the living world, with Spirit, and, when the time is right, with a beloved companion.

We believe relationship itself is one of life’s greatest teachers.

We invite the spirit of play, sacred innocence, mischief, and silliness in so that our inner child can be invited to love and be loved.

We believe:

Laughter is medicine.

Curiosity is medicine.

Wonder is medicine.

Friendship is medicine.

Throughout the weekend, friendship, community, conflict, play, ceremony, silence, nourishment, and nature become living classrooms for the heart.

The Three Journeys

Becoming the Beloved

The Heart Awakens

Before we can walk with another, we are invited to come home to ourselves.

This first journey explores self-relationship, attachment, nervous system regulation, discernment, inner child work, and the ways our past has shaped how we give and receive love.

February 4th-7th, 2027

Walking with the Beloved

The Heart Learns

Love is practiced in relationship.

The second journey explores friendship, community, conflict, repair, boundaries, play, devotion, and invites us to reflect on how we are in relationship with life itself.

This journey explores what becomes possible when relationship itself becomes a spiritual practice.

May 6th-9th, 2027

Becoming Beloved Together

All three journeys are facilitated by heart-opening medicine and ceremonial-grade cacao.

Please schedule an exploratory call to see if these medicines are right for you at this time.

The Heart Comes Home

Partnership is not a destination.

It is an ongoing practice of choosing one another, tending the heart, and building a shared life rooted in devotion, integrity, and love.

This final journey invites us to explore what it means to become beloved together.

August 5th-8th, 2027

Imagine…

Laughing so hard your nervous system remembers joy.

Sitting beside the lake with someone who truly sees you.

Learning to navigate conflict without abandoning yourself.

Being nourished by beautiful food made with love.

Singing beneath the stars around a crackling fire.

Receiving honest reflections from strangers who somehow no longer feel like strangers.

Discovering that friendship may be one of the deepest pathways into love.

Nourishment as Ceremony

Everything about your experience at Honey Moon Farm is designed to nourish you: body, mind, and soul. We believe nourishment is part of the ceremony.

Take a morning walk around the lake to see the geese, ducks, deer, and lily pads; lounge in a hammock for an afternoon nap in our lakeside geodesic domes; pick an apple from the orchard; take an after-dinner soak in the hot tub or relax in the sauna; or gather around our sacred fire circle or curl up next to The Hive woodfire stove.

We believe food is the original medicine, and plants are our greatest teachers. We serve from-scratch plant-based meals, using organic and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We ensure all meals include plant protein and healthy fats to help people ground and restore. Self-serve light snacks and fruit are always available between meals.

Unlimited herbal tea, infused water, agua frescas, and electrolytes are available throughout the retreat.

All water is Sierra Nevada spring water from our well.

While each journey may be experienced independently, the deepest transformation unfolds across the full path.

We intentionally keep our groups small to cultivate
intimacy, depth, and meaningful connection.

 Space is therefore very limited.

Is this retreat for me?

This experience is intended for individuals who are:

• Walking a sincere spiritual path
• Curious about how attachment, nervous system regulation, and relational patterns shape love
• Willing to be playful, vulnerable, and deeply present
• Ready to participate fully in a transformative community container
• Open to ceremony as a doorway into transformation

While most participants may join because they seek a future life partner, the deeper invitation is to become someone who can meet love in all its forms with openness, discernment, and integrity.

Whether you are single or currently in a conscious partnership, this work invites you into your own relationship with love. Couples are warmly welcome with the understanding that this is intentionally an individual journey. Throughout the weekend, participants rotate through experiential activities with many different members of the group, allowing each relationship to become a teacher.

What makes this different?

The Way of the Beloved weaves together:

• Heart-centered ceremonial practice
• Cacao and heart-opening medicine
• Authentic relating
• Play and joyful connection
• Embodied communication
• Attachment Theory
• Polyvagal (nervous system) education
• Conscious conflict and repair
• Nature immersion in a beautiful setting in the Sierra Nevadas
• Spacious and supported ongoing integration

Rather than teaching about relationship from the sidelines, we practice relationship together throughout the weekend.

And we get super silly while doing it.

What is each weekend like?

The Way of the Beloved is intentionally experiential.

While you’ll receive all the practical information needed to arrive prepared and feel held, many elements of the weekend are intentionally left unrevealed.

Like ceremony itself, this journey unfolds through direct experience.

We believe some of life’s most important teachings cannot be explained in advance; they can only be lived.

How does the 3-part journey work?

The 3-part journey is designed to work either as a series or a standalone experience. The teachings, experience, and unfolding build on each other throughout the series, yet are designed to be accessible at any part in the journey.

We deeply encourage anyone who feels a deep yearning to do this work and feels a strong yes to diving into their way of relating at this time to join for all 3. We would love to speak with you to explore if this is the right experience for you at this time.

Additional questions?

We would love to have a chat with you, answer any questions, and help explore if this is a yes for you at this time.

Your Facilitators

Jupiter Rain

she/they

Jupiter believes that relationship is one of our greatest spiritual teachers. Her work bridges the worlds of ceremony, psychology, nature, and sacred play. She has walked the path of plant-guided awakening for over 17 years and has been an apprentice of the Shipibo and Ashaninka vegetalismo lineages for over 7 years, with over 6 months spent in isolation dietas. Her primary spiritual home resides in the Lopez/Mahua Shipibo lineage, where she was given her Shipibo name Tita Sani (Mother of Chiric Sanango). Her work blends a deep devotion to the plants with the trickster’s sacred silliness. She walks this path dedicated to being a bridge between the spiritual and material realms, a meeting of heaven and earth.

Her formal education includes a Master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is currently completing her doctoral dissertation in the East-West Psychology department at the California Institute of Integral Studies, focusing on the influence of gender on Shipibo vegetalistas’ healing work.

She is EMDR Certified (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and IFS Level 1 (Internal Family Systems) trained. She holds a Certificate in Psychedelic
Therapies and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is a Moondancer in the Chicuauhtlimetzli Moondance tradition in Mt. Shasta.

Cielo Azul

he/they

Cielo has experienced the power of relationships as spiritual teacher as a son, father, friend, and partner. Their work bridges ancient spiritual traditions with modern psychology. They are the Mestizo son of Peruvian and Czech parents and began their relationship with the plants at 13 in the Andes while working under a huachumero in Saqsaywaman. They have spent over 30 years awakening to their highest Self through plant medicine, a devoted meditation practice in the Vipassana and Raja Yoga lineages, and decades of personal therapy. They previously lived in a women-led ashram where they organized meditation retreats for teens from inner-city New York. They have been initiated into the Shipibo vegetalismo tradition and are in mentorship with the Lopez/Mahua lineage. They are trained in Wixarica curanderismo in the Barefoot lineage under their teacher, Abuela Teresa Rivas, and have apprenticed with a Lakota chief.

Their formal education includes Master’s degrees from Columbia University and Cornell University. They are currently completing their PhD in Transpersonal Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. They are creating an IFS (Internal Family Systems) protocol for the preparation and integration of group ceremonial psychedelic work with Dr. Dick Schwartz, IFS founder, for their dissertation.

They hold a Certificate in Psychedelic Therapies and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies. They are an Aguila de Fuego (Fire Eagle) in the Chicuauhtlimetzli Moondance tradition in Mt. Shasta, and are a firekeeper and sahumador in the Wixarika Barefoot lineage.

Jupiter and Cielo have been in partnership for over 6 years. In that time they have been co-parents to Cielo’s 12 year old son, cared for and lived with Jupiter’s father for years through illness and hospice, walked each other through the portal of both their fathers dying, undertaken doctoral degrees and become co-researchers on each other’s dissertations, renovated and sold Jupiter’s childhood home, and bought a 30 acre retreat center, farm, and temple space in Grass Valley that they now steward as Honey Moon Farm.

Many relationships struggle to survive one of these life initiations. There is no secret sauce to what has helped them survive and now thrive through life. What they share is a belief that relationship is the greatest learning ground for spiritual development, and a dedication to leaning in when it gets hard. Both children of trauma, they have seen how therapy, ceremonial work, meditation, connection to nature, nervous system healing, play, creativity, radical self-responsibility, and a willingness to learn and grow together can help a spiritually grounded relationship endure the inevitable challenges and growth that life will present. They present themselves not as having the answers, but as partners willing to draw on their experiences of growing through dysregulation, fear, triggers, and discomfort to help others do the same. Their prayer is to help others find the joy and transformation that relationship can foster.

Teachings born out of a dedicated path of relationship as spiritual practice

The Friendship Covenant

At Honey Moon Farm, we believe enduring partnership grows from friendship, discernment, and shared values.

If mutual romantic attraction develops between participants during the retreat, we ask that both individuals honor a 30-day period of friendship before pursuing a romantic or sexual relationship.

This simple practice creates space for clarity, respect, and relationships rooted in something deeper than immediate chemistry.
