Cómo Llegar a Honey Moon Farm
Getting to Honey Moon Farm
Honey Moon Farm is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills near Grass Valley, Nevada City, and Colfax, California. For most guests, Sacramento International Airport is the simplest arrival point. Exact driving directions and the property address will be shared with registered participants.
Opción 1 — Recomendada
Sacramento International Airport (SMF)
SMF is the closest major airport and is approximately one hour from Honey Moon Farm, depending on traffic.
Honey Moon Farm transportation. When offered for this gathering, pickup may be coordinated from Sacramento International Airport or the Colfax Amtrak station. Availability and any transportation contribution will be confirmed in advance.
Train to Colfax. From SMF, take SacRT Airport Express Route 142 or Yolobus Route 42A/42B into downtown Sacramento. Continue to Sacramento Valley Station and board the eastbound Amtrak California Zephyr to Colfax (COX). We can coordinate pickup in Colfax. Because the California Zephyr generally operates once daily, guests should confirm the current timetable before booking flights.
Opción 2
San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
International travelers may find more flight options into SFO.
From the airport, take BART toward Richmond, transferring as needed. Richmond offers a direct connection to the eastbound Amtrak California Zephyr, which continues to Colfax.
Guests may also travel to Emeryville by a separate local connection and board the California Zephyr there. Pickup can be coordinated from Colfax.
Opción 3
Greyhound or FlixBus
Greyhound and FlixBus currently offer service from both Sacramento and San Francisco to Colfax. Routes, departure times, stop locations, and fares can change, so guests should verify current service before purchasing tickets. The Colfax bus stop is separate from the Amtrak platform; pickup arrangements should specify which location you will use.
Punto de Llegada Recomendado
Recommended Arrival Point
Colfax Amtrak Station (COX)
For guests using public transportation, Colfax is the recommended final destination.
From there, the transfer to Honey Moon Farm is short and straightforward.
Opción 4
Uber, Lyft, or Rental Car
Uber or Lyft may be available for direct travel to the farm, although availability can be less predictable for the return journey from a rural location. Approximate driving times are one hour from Sacramento International Airport and 10–15 minutes from Colfax.
Para Invitados Internacionales
For International Guests
When practical, fly into Sacramento International Airport. If flight connections are substantially better through San Francisco, travel from SFO to Richmond by BART and continue to Colfax on Amtrak. Contact us before purchasing tickets so we can help coordinate your arrival and Colfax pickup.
