Diego Mora
Diego Mora, from Colombia, has been a musician throughout his life, specializing in Andean traditions of flutes, strings, and percussion. Since his youth, he has performed professionally with Colombian music groups throughout Colombia and internationally. He is a founding member of the Colombian music ensemble Grupo Putumayo, with whom he played for more than 18 years as a composer, recording artist, and performer.
More than 30 years ago, Diego began walking the path of Yagé, accompanying and supporting elders and Taitas from Yagé-practicing communities in Colombia through his music. After years of preparation, he received guidance to share Yagé in ceremonies of his own.
For the past 12 years, Diego has led ceremonies, served Yagé, and accompanied participants with music in Colombia, Mexico, Canada, Spain, and Switzerland. His wife accompanies him in this work and supports the mission.
The Yagé Diego shares is prepared in the jungles of Putumayo, Colombia, by a family with generational ties to the medicine. His journey brings together more than five decades of music and three decades of learning and experience around Yagé. His path is inspired by teachings passed down through the ancestors: living in brotherhood, cultivating constructive thought, and making decisions that support life and right relationship.
Jaen Valdés
Jaen began his musical journey at the age of 12. In 2012, he began exploring the relationship between music, sound, and expanded states of consciousness through his spiritual path and work with sacred plants, integrating his musical knowledge with the transformative potential of sound.
Since 2014, he has shared sound-healing experiences throughout Mexico, Colombia, and the United States, offering individual and group sessions for corporate organizations, schools, yoga centers, and wellness communities. His practice incorporates Tibetan singing bowls, flutes, hang drum, and other instruments to create immersive experiences through vibration and sound.
In 2018, Jaen deepened his studies through music-therapy programs, including Ometeotl Sound Healing School and courses through UNAM exploring the effects of music and sound on the brain and body. In 2021, he traveled to the Amazon rainforest, where he learned traditional healing practices from Taitas and elders, including Abuelo Pacheco of the Siona community in southern Colombia. He has also completed Reiki Levels I, II, and III.
From 2023 to 2025, Jaen worked as a teacher and sound-healing practitioner at Purusha Yoga School in San Francisco. He also facilitates ceremonial work with sound healing and cacao. Connected to his Mayan ancestry, he incorporates cacao ceremonies as a way of honoring its cultural and spiritual significance within Mesoamerican traditions.
His work brings together music, sound healing, Reiki, ceremonial practices, and ancestral teachings. He understands sound as a bridge between physical, emotional, and spiritual experience, creating spaces for connection, awareness, and transformation.

Jupiter and Cielo are the land stewards of Honey Moon Farm, the retreat center, community, and farm where the weekend will take place. They steward this land as both their home and a place of healing and reconnection with Pachamama for all who visit and pray on the land.
Honey Moon Farm is a sanctuary for all life forms, and, in this ethos, all meals are plant-based to reflect a commitment to non-violence (ahimsa).
