Shipibo Prayer Retreats

We offer our prayer primarily embedded in the Shipibo lineage, with inspiration, ritual, and song from our other lineages as well. Come bathe in the medicine of the plants, of community, and of the land at Honey Moon Farm,

❋ Trained Facilitation

Your weekend will be guided by the land stewards of Hone Moon Farm, trained in the Shipibo, Ashaninka, Wixarika, Nahuatl, and Lakots lineages, as well as in Western psychology.

Assistants and co-facilitators are also deeply trained in their own lineages and psychological backgrounds.

❋ Indigenous Wisdom

The ceremonies are guided by the teachings and direction of our Indigenous teachers. We also weave rituals like plant baths, prayer, plant communication, sacred fire tending, sauna, and animism into our retreats.

Our philosophy is based on drinking less medicine and more time taking in the medicine of the land and working at the speed of the plants.

❋ Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Our core Western psychology framework and practice are steeped in Internal Family Systems. We incorporate this framework into guided meditations, 1:1 check-ins, group sharing processes, and more.

Experience with IFS is not required, and using this framework is always optional; keep what works for you and leave the rest.

❋ Trauma-Informed Facilitation

Our lead facilitators, as well as all assistants and co-facilitators, are deeply trained in modern trauma-informed practices. All activities are optional, consent is an ongoing agreement, and we move at the speed of trust.

Please inform the team during intake of any additional accommodations or needs so we can best support you and your process.

Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.
